2010-2011 Monte Jade Executive Mentorship Program: Mentoring for Career Advancement

Program Format
The primary goal of the mentorship program is to provide opportunities for mentees to interact with mentors and each other in small group settings, and foster the development of long-term relationships. The highlights of the 2010-2011 program include: 1) panel discussions and various career advancement workshops for all participants, 2) small group interactions with a targeted 4:1 mentee to mentor ratio within a mentoring "family", 3) dual family sessions for increased interactions with other mentoring families, and 4) special topics dinners with some of the most accomplished Asian American leaders in Silicon Valley.
About forty spots will be available this year, and mentees will be assigned into a mentoring family that best meets their professional development needs. Each mentoring family will also have one peer mentor from past mentorship programs to help guide the mentees in building long-term relationships with the mentors.
